Lake Kinrin-ko (金鱗湖): Located at the end of Yufuin’s main street, this enchanting lake is famous for the way the scales of the fish within reflect sunlight, resembling shimmering gold. Kinrin-ko is fed by hot and cold springs, creating a unique blend that leads to early morning mist in autumn and winter, ideal for a serene morning stroll. You can see the famous fish swimming about, as you stroll along the lake’s walking path. There are also restaurants and cafes by the lake, so you can take in the scenic nature while enjoying a meal or cup of coffee

Yufuin Floral Village: Yufuin Floral Village is a fairytale-themed area inspired by the Cotswolds region of England. It is home to charming cafes, gift shops, and small animals, like cats and owls, for visitors to interact with. It’s a whimsical destination perfect for both adults and children.

Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride: Take a 50-60-minute ride through Yufuin’s peaceful streets in a horse-drawn carriage. As you ride past Buddhist temples and ancient shrines, the carriage’s slow pace allows you to take in the rich culture and natural beauty of the town. You can reserve the horse ride at the tourist information center at Yufu Station on the day of your visit.

Yunotsubo Street: Yufuin’s main street, features stylish boutiques with unique Japanese crafts and  souvenirs.
