Asageshiki means a morning view in Japanese. As it is the first view you see of the day, the organizers behind this hiking experience hoped it to be a memorable one, and that is how a one of a kind experience where hiking and a tea ceremony are put together came to be. But hiking and tea ceremony together? Seems a bit of a mismatch, but get ready to be awed as this experience introduces to you “nodate”, an outdoor style tea ceremony. It will surely be an experience like no other.
This shared experience starts at Hiroshima Station early in the morning. Participants walk to Mt. Futaba, a sacred mountain 10 minutes away from the station, where a shrine awaits you at the footbed of the mountain. Hike up while learning the different nature the mountain is home to, and at the top a breath taking view of Hiroshima City awaits you. What makes this experience special is the outdoor tea ceremony at the top of the mountain! Experience history and tradition in a place like no other.
*This experience is a shared experience, so you may have others joining you. It is also offered as a private experience as well; please inquire us for more details.
