Lake Kinrin-ko (金鱗湖): Located at the end of Yufuin’s main street, this enchanting lake is famous for the way the scales of the fish within reflect sunlight, resembling shimmering gold. Kinrin-ko is fed by hot and cold springs, creating a unique blend that leads to early morning mist in autumn and winter, ideal for a serene morning stroll. You can see the famous fish swimming about, as you stroll along the lake’s walking path. Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride: Take a 50-60-minute ride through Yufuin’s peaceful streets in a horse-drawn carriage.
